During the winter months, guests are advised to check opening times with the reception. The swimming pool itself is an indoor pool. Mashabim Holiday Village offers its guests a semi-Olympic swimming pool overlooking magnificent desert views, creating an atmosphere of calm and tranquility. In summer, the sides of the pool are open; it is shaded and surrounded by wide lawns, comfortable chairs, and shaded pergolas. In winter, the pool does not operate on a fixed schedule and opens only by special request or during holidays such as Hanukkah and Purim. The pool area includes convenient changing rooms and restrooms for guests. The village dining room serves a rich and varied Israeli breakfast. Lunch and dinner can also be provided by prior arrangement. Lunch and dinner are meat-based, buffet-style meals. The dining room is kosher and can accommodate up to 200 diners. Within the holiday village complex there are several meeting halls, the largest of which is suitable for up to 100 people. All halls are equipped with tables, chairs, and a screen. Some also include a projector and sound system. The halls can host conferences, lectures, and group activities. Groups that require a synagogue space can also use these halls by prior arrangement (there is no permanent synagogue on site, but there is a Torah scroll). The grounds of the holiday village include broad lawns spread between the different accommodation buildings. In addition, there are many barbecue areas available for guests’ use. Please note that the rooms do not have kitchenettes or kitchen utensils. Some of the barbecue areas are equipped with sinks. Within the kibbutz grounds there are children’s playgrounds and a cowshed that guests are welcome to visit.
